The first experience I had stage managing was in high school and from there on I've been hooked. I have been fortunate enough to experience many different types of theatre, working in different shops, and designing different elements, but theatrical management has a very special place in my heart. I love being able to be the bridge of communication between different departments and be able to assist in the health and safety of the team as a whole. I strive to make sure every team member is heard and respected and through that I lift them up. I have learned and work to include all five pillars of stage management into every position or job I have had. Leadership, communication, safety, collaboration, and empowerment are so vital to a production so it can be as efficient and creative as possible so with everything I do I keep those key pillars in mind.
